It's a ******* (AdFly) link (it's one of their alias domains for that), i remember servers doing that stuff years ago, but iirc some clients gets stucked on the ad page with a video (playing the ad at full volume in background while they play) and they can't stop it until another motd it's loaded, and also it's against Adfly's TOS to use it in this way anyway.
