I have encountered plugins that incorporate animations. If it's possible to turn the hostage into a bot, then the thing you asked for supplied with the proper animation can potentially be done. I don't think it's possible to turn a hostage into a bot though. Perhaps spawn a bot and remove the hostage simultanously? That would look weird in the player's perspective, but could maybe work.
I have never worked with bots/hostages, it's better to wait for someone more experienced in that department.
