Hi,
It’s because the ban record somehow doesn’t get written in the advanced_bans.txt data file.
Head over to ~/addons/amxmodx/data, check if advanced_bans.txt actually has the ban written in it.
Also, i do this quite a lot so just for the heads up, make sure you don’t accidentally leave any extra space in the amx_unban “IP/SteamID” command anywhere.
If everything seems to fail, please verify the “How to use” section in the main post to make sure you’ve installed everything just the exact same way as mentioned.
Hope these very basic steps help you solve the problem.
