I have a dedicated FFA CS:GO Server on CentOS 6.5 running and playable. However,when I join I only have a knife until I kill someone.

So...how do I configure a human player to spawn with a chosen weapon?

I've tried changing cvars in my gamemode_deathmatch.cfg, but no worky.
I thought the values for mp_ct and mp_t_default_primary would work, but no.
Bot_sniper_only works like a charm for bots.

Thank you for your time on this as I am stuck and tired of googlin' and trial-and-error running.
