Recently, I've been unable to get certain cvars to work in L4D2. Namely, z_hunter_health, and the other special infected health cvars. I'm not sure how long ago these quit working, but it has messed up the weapons balance severely on my clan's servers. What is happening is that in sourcemod.cfg, the setting is "z_hunter_health 16000", but when in-game, a weapon set at 300 damage kills a hunter with one shot. Typing z_hunter_health in the console shows that it is set at 250, though typing sm_cvar z_hunter_health shows it set at 16000. Is anyone aware of a reason that sourcemod isn't able to change certain cvars anymore? I'm using a snapshot of 1.4 on this server, but have this problem with others that are running recent snapshots of 1.3. It only seems to be affecting the cvars that relate to the special infected. Other servers running L4D aren't encountering this issue. I apologize in advance if this topic has already been addressed, I've been looking for any comment on this for a while now but haven't found it.
