About the hooks not working on 2003 and 2008, I was thinking and it should be because of
this that should be conflicting with how orpheu works (That, I guess comes by default enabled on them).
For those who have it, try to deactivate DEP globally or for hlds process and tell me if then orpheu works.

Edit: if that fails try the attachment version, and tell me if it work (either with DEP disable or enabled)
