Hey i've been trying different rates for my server for some time now, still didn't get the performance i had in mind.. Sometimes when server is full and all the players are alive ping gets higher (from 20-35ms to 50-80ms). Any suggestions? I'm running 32slot CS 1.6 server, its on windows dedicated machine, on our company's link (think its 100mbit - gotta double check), it has 8GB ram, intel xeon dual core. Also what about sys_ticrate and fps_max? Its a public server, so i'm willing to sacrifice other stuff in exchange for low and stable ping.
