People from across the pacific ocean only have around 200 ping to my clan's server and people from across the atlantic are usually under 200 ping. I think that is farther that Europe is wide.

Even if you leave out the legality of using non-steam games, we CANNOT support them. It's a simple fact. It's a different game than what AMX Mod X was designed to run on. Period. So, if someone keeps asking for support of non-steam it just becomes spam which needs to be cleaned up.
