If Valve really didn't want those kinds of servers they would just block them from the master server list as they popped up. It's pretty easy to tell something is up when the server has a player...

Updating to mmsource-1.8.3-hg728-linux and sourcemod-1.3.4-hg3002 did nothing for me.

Time for me to sit back and wait patiently.

I too have this problem across all my L4D 2 servers. Moving metamod.vdf out of the addons folder fixes it of course. I'm unsure if it is Metamod or Sourcemod that is the culprit.

I just tried the latest Sourcemod 1.4.0 build, hg2961, to no avail. Some plugins are still ignoring CFG settings.

The freshest sourcemod build from here now works for me.

I installed 1.3.2-hg2942.tar.gz and everything shows up properly with metamod and sourcemod now....

Metamod now loads on my up to date linux server, sourcemod however is still MIA. I haven't tried a newer sourcemod snapshot.

It seems my problem was that the database was too old for the newest plugin version. Everything is fine now, updated all four servers with the plugin and the web stats to the latest.
