However, according to the commit (https://github.com/GameConnect/SourceBans/commits/master) ("development") history for SB 2.0, it seems quite silent.

SourceBans is not a synchronizing tool. It doesn't use files, but uses your MySQL database.

The old 1.4.x versions of SourceBans was writing to some files, which were BACKUP FILES ONLY. The files...
