I actually can't stand this, servers that give special abilities to donators I avoid like the plague. Perks I can handle like reserved slot and things like that, but special abilities for some while...

You said it's a VPS, does the VPS have access to the whole CPU? If not you might not have enough CPU power to run a server that big.

SRCDS isn't very IO intensive. You can get away with a 7.2k RPM drive.

But you have said you will be hosting a MySQL server. If it's going to be of any decent size you will want a fast drive for...

Xen doesn't guarantee you a dedicated core. Depending on the host you'd be lucky to get 400Mhz guaranteed per core with the rest being equal share. Just have to hope you aren't on a busy node :).

VPS's are generally a bad idea for SRCDS unless you can purchase a dedicated CPU core with the package.

Generally a normal VPS is equal share CPU between however many clients they have on the one...

Why not pay per view instead of per 1000 impressions? It seems like a fairer way instead of hoping 60% of your user base is going to watch it.

The best way is to just firewall the rcon port and use sm_rcon. If you specifically need rcon, whitelist the IP's that need to access it.
