same thing with me... i done the autoupdate in the same folder as hlds file. it downloaded some things in the same folder then i clicked hlds and still says steam.dll was not found

i done a file search in steam.dll and found it, i put it in...

ok i got my steam account back up and running and now have normal LEGAL cs 1.6 ( cant add bots now lol ) when i try open HLDS it says:
