are you trying to get it to put stats into your db? if so, you need to uncomment the line in .sma for the cs stats and recompile. I cant test that because I dont use cs. Otherwise, it doesnt update...

when trying to compile the sma, the sma is suppose to look for forum_fmapi.inc, but instead it looks for forum_fmapi_phpnuke.inc. I use phpbb so I was surprised to see my server looking for nuke...

by valid he means that the directions are off in terms of editing the phpbb. The plugin itself may be valid assuming it compiles, which it isnt.
