Already tried that. That does change the value to the correct amount but this doesn't cause the end event to trigger.

This appears to be broken as of 2019. The gas can saving mechanic still works fine, but the limit is always 999. I tried manually setting it to my custom amount I wanted, but then the event would...

This plugin works really well! Something the author didn't mention is that if a weapon drops, you only get 1/3 of the ammo reserve total, which I thought was a nice touch.
