Took a while but we finally got things fixed.
Something with the port not properly connecting, but it is fixed now. :)

Just wondering, I don't run the tradional MySQL, I run MariaDB 5.5.28, the installation went through fine so I don't this might be the issue...

173.254.194.142 is not my game server IP, but the VPS server IP.

You mean the game server IP?

The IP is correct: 173.254.194.142 for my server.

I'll contact my host to see if they are using any external firewalls.

No, I do not have configserver firewall on my vps.
And yes, the game server was restarted.

So if the server ip is 66.151.138.51 then all I have to do is put 66.151.138.51%

I should be able to make any changes since I control the entire vps.

I double checked the cPanel forums and I did add my game server IP's to be able to connect with my database.

When players are being banned from the actual server ( in game) the bans do not show on the sourcebans page.

However when I ban them from the sourceban page they do show, not sure what's going on....
