What really impressed me was I connected from the other side of the world with over 300 ping, the server was full but the var was around 0.004 to 0.009 or something, that's quite insane for a FFA DM....

I know this is an old thread but I recently played on tarik.gg servers (NYC) and they have amazingly low var!. Someone's gotta figure out what cfg they are use lol!

Just to clarify, you haven't yet answered my server scaling questions?. Did you run 10-13 srcds servers one bare metal e3-1230 host or did you use 2 bare metal hosts?.
