If you are using Harbu's TS plugins or some other stuff like that, it won't work ever.
But here :
new entity = create_entity("info_target")
entity_set_model(entity, "models/somemodel.mdl")...

Now, with new compiler from 1.60 ( I have this problem since pheeeee time )
to compile a , let's say, 700 kb plugin it needs 89.3 minutes ( wtf ).
It is compiling on Celeron 1.7 GHZ, 256 RAM
