We run loads of source servers across many different games (being a part of a hosting company), and SCRDS runs like this on a few servers, not all.

Our surf server is running SMAC, of which it's CPU usage is perfectly fine.

Every other source game is at a stable usage. If you look at the image above, it spikes regardless of what happens.

On other servers, as people join it gradually increases which is expected but...

We have recently come across a problem with SCRDS spiking between 0-80% of a core constantly, default CS:GO (with no modifications) doesn't do this however.

I've resolved the issue already, forgot about this thread.

It was to do with Linux, not sure what it was but it didn't like Linux. It might be due to the fact I built my servers on a Windows...

We're moving one of our servers over to one of our Windows servers to test the theory, we only moved to Linux for the soul purpose of a secure firewall protecting most attacks.

Thanks for your consideration, it seems to be sv which goes red but that happens anyway without generating lag. It's sort of a spike and sometimes the server just freezes and gives you the disconnect...
