I know that it can be different when running another Mod/Game :)

Can you see the plugin in the plugin list? (sm plugins list)
What's the output sm cvars for that plugin?

Works like a charm if I set it to 1 (TF2):

What phrases you are looking for? Did you check aft_manager.phrases.txt?
