I think it's the IP lookup. Check config.php.

iirc you just set the web permissions for the only admin who should receive the email. I don't remember what the permission is called though.

Valve, why can't you use constant Steam IDs?

I would hope SourceBans handles Steam IDs the same way SourceMod does, only comparing X:XXXXXXX

Right. In this context, however, he meant that HostGator's regular shared hosting servers don't allow it. Whether by accident on purpose, however, the server I'm a reseller on has the ports open.

What do you mean? I'm pretty sure HostGator has their own servers. I've never really had much of a problem with the reseller hosting, can't say much about the regular shared hosting.

Create database, set up user
Remote MySQL >> add game server IPs
databases.cfg >> configure


Maybe there's a difference between the reseller and regular...

Be aware if you start tweaking server IDs, you need to update the server ID everywhere it appears: SourceBans plugin config, groups tables, user access tables, etc.

I don't think it's doable from the SourceBans GUI, but I'm sure you can edit the database directly.
