I never said that about universal hosting, just HostGator, which doesn't allow incoming DB connections on shared hosting, period.

They're a reseller, with LOTS of limit. Just buy a VPS for $19.99 a month and go nuts.

Yes there is. Shared hosting doesn't allow inbound DB connections.

I am on them too at the moment and the shared hosting is just too much hassle to work with in terms of establishing outside DB connections so I just moved all the DB-related features back to the game...

Yes, I did, but I resolved all the problems by granting access for the SQL account.

Sorry, got ninja'ed. But yes, I did. The server ID corresponds to the sourcebans.cfg.

A new error just popped up:

Have a bug to report:

When I issue !ban on someone, it doesn't get recorded in the SourceBan admin panel, but when I do it from the web panel, it does.

I also refreshed using /sb_reload.
