Everything that will run in 1.8.1 will also run in 1.8.2 and 1.8.2 has been used by the majority of servers for a very long time.

Nobody should be using version 1.8.1. The officially released version currently is 1.8.2 which can be downloaded here (https://www.amxmodx.org/downloads.php).

Also, documentation for installation...
