Hmmm, try to set

cssdm_spawn_protection "0"

in cssdm.cfg

BTW: I use cssdm_ragdoll_time "4" and sm_ragdolls.smx. Works perfect and has nice effects.

You can edit this file: ../cstrike/cfg/cssdm/cssdm.equip.txt and/or ../cstrike/cfg/cssdm/cssdm.weapons.txt to change the weapons and their order. Or in .../cssdm/maps/... for individual maps.

The menu only comes up after you were killed. I works as designed.
The message: "[CSSDM] Your guns menu is already enabled" is not the best :-(
Better would be this: "[CSSDM] Your guns menu appears...
