need help installing css bot control

i can't get the css bot control menu to work. it keeps saying "admin_botcontrol is not valid". it should work with the newest release of mani, right? or do i need to install basic admin tools instead?

i'm running css on my gameserver. is there any lines i need to add in server.cfg or mani or anything?

i'm pretty sure i did it correctly. i just reinstalled it by following the wiki again. are there better install instructions somewhere?

i installed metamod as per the wiki directions, and i got the unknown command meta error. can anyone help?

the server is a dedicated linux from gameservers, but my pc is windows.
