Make a copy of your live server and launch it on different port with like only 2 slots. After setting the spawns just turn off the test server.

You have to make your .mp3 with only 1 audio channel - Mono. Half-life1 doesn`t support stereo.

The problem is that the server only checks if the file exists on client pc but if an older version of a file exists on client pc, it won`t download the file let alone overwrite it.

About the menu bug, its possible that a menu is not destroyed and it uses the same menu handler as buy menu.
