I am helping a buddy out with getting his server up. I ran him through all the steps i did to get mine up. He is using hlds and has already port forwarded the port 27015. But when he goes to start...

i have 40 levels on my server but i changed it to make more xp inbetween each level. But i keep getting this error.

yes....you do need to set up a static ip adress. You can get directions for setting one up at www.portforward.com
