You can't change the intensity of the rain, it changes the intensity of the lighting + thunder. Also to change to snow, you change the cvar mentioned and on next map it will activate.

weec: Make sure your using the latest amxx 1.75a scripting folder, your most-likely missing the hlsdk_const.inc that the newer engine/fakemeta's include.

Hmm, that shouldn't be needed, both fakemeta and engine include hlsdk_const.inc which has all those defines.

I just took another peek at timer16. The effect does not look nearly as great as CS 1.6's weather does. It also has a whole day/night time weather type system, and...

She creates a rain effect by putting a sprite in front of you.

Mine actually uses CS 1.6's weather effect system. I just added sounds and my own version of lightning.

Redownload both files and re-compile. Early on I had a misprint on NEXTTHINK making it be called every server frame. Just redownload to fix.

Ok, I uploaded a version that runs the cmd cl_weather 1 on clients when they enter the server.

You can't stop it mid-game. Those entities force it to be on the rest of the map. It has to be changed with a map change.

Make sure weather_type is not 0.

Also, type amxx plugins and see if its loading.
You need to compile this plugin yourself since it has a custom config.

Just redownload the plugin and ojos.inc...

Updated to 2.0.

Added Randomized Lightning and rain sounds. Lightning has 1 in 1000 chance of striking a random player.

The higher the weather_storm CVAR the more frequent the lightning is.

I'm working on updating it.

I'm adding a lightning system to the rain, and I did plan on using that sound already. I also wanted to do a lights thing, but thats not convertable to fakemeta.

I took some screenshots, but its very hard to see it in them, cause their rendered very lightly. (I'm guessing so they wouldn't mess up gameplay.)
