The changes were to resolve the ABI compatibility issues (gamedata), there is still the lack of homing behaviour.

The gamedata was updated shortly after the tf2 update, but unfortunately Valve removed a function it relies on. I haven't had a chance to look into rewriting that bit yet.

The particles are part of the model. TFDB has no control over them.

In the future, I suggest using the gamedata override (https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Gamedata_Updating_(SourceMod)#Custom_Files) methods built...

The gamedata files need an update after yesterday's TF2 update, I haven't got to it yet and I don't know when I will (I started a new job on Monday).

Yes, that's the only option for homing available in this plugin (it then locks onto them, rather than constantly switching targets).

Orbiting works fine and can be tweaked by changing sm_dodgeball_turnrate, I have no idea what spiking is.

I pushed most of the updated gamedata to the repo sometime last week, it's still missing a signature for the class restrictions, and the problems with rockets doing no damage hints that an offset...

It's currently broken on both platforms, it'll just only fail gracefully on Windows (as of the last TF2 update, whereas it's been broken for quite a bit longer).

The initial fix was delayed...

TFDodgeball is built on TF2Items code, so it won't be fixed until TF2Items is (which is still my number 1 priority, but real life keeps getting in the way).

If you install a snapshot instead of the release download, you have to compile the plugin yourself.

You need to update from http://vphysics.limetech.org/?project=tfdodgeball, I apparently keep forgetting to update the release package in the first post.

You should also remove the symlink / copy...

If you use the commands to push the current rockets over the defined max, you can get into a state where the max is ignored and they just keep spawning. But that's the only issue that can be caused.
