Unfortunately warnings are still an error type as far as PHP is concerned, which means he still gets an ugly "error message" on the webpage.

You're right, not necessarily something to worry...

It's possible they did. If worse comes to worse and they won't unblock the ports, I can always hook you up with an account on my web box.

Ensure that on your webserver, OUTGOING TCP and UDP 27015 (or whatever port your gameserver is on) are both turned on. The site's FAQ words it a little strangely, I sat there forever before realizing...
