Re: SV/var problems

First of all. I will recommend removing your "GSLT token" from your sv_setsteamaccount =)

Did you try this trick also?: apt install tuned && tuned-adm profile latency-performance

I usually stick to running standard kernel (I use Ryzen 9 series)

I use this normally for running gameservers: apt-get install tuned && tuned-adm profile latency-performance

Re: unstable var spikes

Ah, I see.

It is not much you can do - You can try testing with a 64-tickrate, 128-tickrate taking more resources, so it will not be easy to hit 0.00x on VPS.

I have no idea what else you can...

Re: unstable var spikes

Probably uses a dedicated server.

There is not much you can do on a VPS. - You can not change performance that way. Therefore, a dedicated server is always a recommendation.

Re: Clean srcds installation giving the same error on every OS

I can't see port 27015 UDP opened.

Try to open it for inbound/outbound (And test it)

Hi.

Did you open the port via the Microsoft Azure VMs interface of the firewall?

What is your start-command line?

What do you use to run? do you have tried to add -nowatchdog and see about it still crashing?

Re: CSGO Shake on client screen

Make gameserver to switch map, each 10-20 minutes (so long as gameserver are empty for players) which did help for me. :)

Does it still laggy, if you (for example) switch map after 10 minutes?

Re: [CS:GO] About multi-server setup on a dedicated server

I can recommend Ryzen 9 5800X or 5900X =)
1Gbit connection are enough.
250-500GB NVMe.

Re: [CS:GO] About multi-server setup on a dedicated server

Depends on what you want to host, and how many slots.

Re: Need help with gotv demos for csgo dedicated server

pugsetup (but you need to set auto-record enabled from pugsetup.cfg)
Or reinstall warmod. You can too use eBot.

Re: Need help with gotv demos for csgo dedicated server

As TomL. did note:

You need to remove the tv_autorecord 1.
Warmod has record-built already. :-)

Re: New CPU for hosting csgo srcds

I usually go for the highest single-thread performance possible.

Example could be:
i9-11900KF/F
AMD Ryzen 7 5800/X
AMD Ryzen 9 5900/X
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

I have a Ryzen 9 5900X

Re: Lower variance

Hmm. maybe something is missing.

I can't say what it is. Since I don't use AWS/DO/Google-Cloud.

Re: Lower variance

Well, I can confirm, it will not help you. Because of limited GHz. (If you don't get low sv/var = my kernel/rates will not help with it)

So you need to try build-your-own-kernel. :)

Re: Lower variance

Let me guess, you are using GoogleCloud/AWS or DO? - Since you didn't post what CPU you're using.

You need a better CPU before it will work. :)

You need between 3Ghz to 5Ghz.

Re: Lower variance

Depends on your CPU.

The kernel can't give you low variance =)

So you need to install this:

apt-get install tuned -y && tuned-adm profile latency-performance
