HL2DM game does not have vscript built in, so no it's not possible to do so.

I have no experience with l4d1 & l4d2 but from the look of gamedata and source code, l4d2 use function CDirector::IsFirstMapInScenario which is fine. However for l4d1, DIFFERENT function...
