Yes, but since the player doesn't own that weapon, it won't pass validation and will be invisible. Have you tried it yet?

The autoupdater has the correct gamedata now. All you need to do is restart your server to receive it. Everything's fixed.

The weapon would become invisible, thus not circumventing item validation so I'd say..do it! The TF2Items GiveNamedWeapon plugin already does that. :wink:

Replace the gamedata with the version attached on the post (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showpost.php?p=1613952&postcount=1319) I just made and everything works fine.

I tested the new gamedata attached below. But the autoupdater still has the wrong values. So you have to disable it through configs/core.cfg if you don't want it replacing the gamedata with the...

Some attributes work that way but most only take effect when the weapon is out.

Just pointed out the problem and worked through it with voogru. I gladly forward any kudos to voogru for fixing this problem. :wink: Very annoying bug is now gone.
