Valve messed up a part of the latest server update for older generation Xeons. You can get your servers working again by downgrading TF2 using -beta previous in the app_update command.

It's a bug caused by the crypto library Valve started using. When you compile a program on a new CPU it fails to properly disable some features for older CPUs (at runtime).

You probably have an older generation Xeon processor. The new TF2 server is compiled against libcrypto++ which doesn't correctly detect some Xeon's CPU features. I have 2 X5675 based servers which...
