eItems should automatically load REST in Pawn on startup, you can check if it's loaded without errors by running this command via RCON after a restart:
sm exts list

If for some reason it doesn't...

REST in Pawn used to cause random crashes, but I fixed those in August 2018. Then I rewrote a large part of the extension in December 2019, so I doubt whatever issue they're talking about still...

There are no individual color codes for blue and red in L4D, only teamcolor (\x03) which is blue for one team and red for the other.

You need to post the actual error, which is above the "Blaming: advertisements.smx" line.

It will probably tell you that you made a mistake in your advertisements.txt.

You're right, when you pass -1 it starts at entity 0, so it should have been int ent = MaxClients; to start at MaxClients + 1.
