Failed to read once again Powerlord. Donators have no need of knowing ban appeals, thus a fake email works fine.

They're not required to provide support. If the plugin works and basic instructions exist, that's enough. Plugin authors are more so required to fix bugs / errors that prevent the plugin from...

After deleting several players with issues and re-creating them, only to notice the issue remained, I had a thought. I wrote a plugin to purge the server of anything admin related, then I shut down...

Unfortunately, a server reset never resolves this issue for me. I've also had to disable "BackupConfigs" in sourcebans.cfg, otherwise the whole installation goes bonkers and won't load admins/groups...

For the time being, it may be wise to setup a .htaccess / .htpasswd to protect your installation from any nasties.

angrygaming.org offers free hlstatsx:ce and sourcebans hosting iirc. It just takes a little while for your account to be setup sometimes.

A lot of hosts won't open ports out of "security concerns", GoDaddy is just one of many.
