The files can be used by any OS, they are not linux or windows.
You are doing something wrong and we can't help without any error logs...

If you join the server and it starts downloading and then if you cancel download, it will stop using fastdl and instead download from the server until you restart CS. Maybe you were doing this and...

After a little research it's determined that some maps, in this case zm_dust2 also, is not working
with the latest build:

BUILD 6153 SERVER (0 CRC).

I've seen servers with older builds run...

There is no error given, CS just closes...strange I know.



Already tried this, with no .res, with a .res including all files in the .res. still doesn't work.

Funny thing is this map worked...
