Same here, we switched a server that was crashing consistently over to `sv_voiceenable 0` and played 3+ full campaigns without crashes. Seems night and day.

I didn't test every feature of L4DToolz probably, but we had it installed on a server and had 9 players in, without making any changes to it. I think it still works.

You need to set up the call as a thiscall for one. Look at how the CThrow::ActivateAbility detour is set up. Or, heck, 90% of our detours...

I believe I have fixed everything in L4DT2 that was broken. You can compile from source from our goooglecode project now. I'll try producing some working builds soon.

I don't offer support for playerslots in left4downtown2 anymore. My official recommendation is that you use l4dtoolz and l4dtoolz only.
