Yes, that is correct - "left4downtown.ext" is the name of the extension, it is for the engine version "2.l4d2", and it is a "dll" for Windows.

The Steam servers don't appear to be validating your SteamID, normally that'd be caused by the server not being connected to Steam correctly - I have no idea what could cause this from your side...

You've got "public" where the return type should be. It should be either "int" or "void", you'd need to figure out which using examples using CURL_OnComplete - but it's probably void.

I believe your interpretation of the problem is incorrect - the error you're seeing happens when the client crashes without leaving the server. Stopping their "ghost" being kicked from the server...

Given the flags you're using, using FindTarget might simplify your code.
