THX sarge! LOTS of my regulars were complaining that their vintage or unusual items name wasn't purple or blue.

ACTUALLY it DID work, however, i had to wait overnight (probably waiting to restart server) for the tf2items.txt cfg to actually take effect, cuz of this, i accidentally made a test weapon...
