Well, getting +ATTACK kinda sucks because you can hold down left click and repeatedly attack the air, and the script will still think you've only fired once

Yeah, everyone else can see it, but one player can't.

Because giving people stuff with CTXs isn't dynamic, so every pyro would always start with a needlegun, or whatever, this allows you to randomly give yourself whatever, whenever.

It's because the unlockable weapons work in some really weird way where they use the same model for the world and view model, but no I can't answer your question.
