I use match deluxe to manage matches and HLTV, but you may be able to utilise HLTV Report, with a few modifications you could use it to start and stop recordings I suppose. Alternatively the X-war...

then add gungame.amxx in that file, dont put it in the plugins.cfg

also make sure you have
mapchangecfgfile "server.cfg"...

the server has plenty enough spec to run server, but it is not advisable to play on the same machine the server is...

well i do admit counter strike is not my main objective in life (i think....), and when i say IT tech i am a novell administrator and admin multiple sites, as well as dreaded microsoft sites..........

well thats true as well, im an IT technician, there aint no virusses in me download , but even if there were ur antivirus would put a stop to that, before it is even extracted. AV prgrams check...

i could upload you a fully configured counter strike server, may defeat the purpose, but at least you might get an idea how it is put together, you would still need to forward ports on your router?...
