That would be considered slowhacking, so, no, even if you ask for player's permission you can't set it (see cl_filterstuffcmd CS April 2019 Update).

How to block the sound of give_item()?

Hello, so this is my code:
strip_user_weapons(id)
give_item(id, "weapon_knife")

When I give a knife to a player it plays the buy sound. Any way around it?
