It WAS the gamedata file but I assumed ( and I should say I say this all the time never to assume and should have listened to my own advice) that the the link on first page where is says latest...

I have quad check that using updated gamedata file...I didn't mention that it is hard did I? I did mention that I followed all steps and everything loading and the correct slots display in HLSW,...

I seem to be going through what a few others here experience on linux server. Everything seems to be installed correctly and running but will not display increased slots in group.
