the host is a XP professional. The registry key can be found through out just searching for steamcmd in regedit.msc

Solved it

Apperantly the client uses the registry for it usage aswell. I could never imagine it did lol
anyways, I deleted the registry keys from steamcmd and tried once again. Now it works :)

Anyways, I know it isnt neccesary to switch OS just to create a server through steamcmd.

And there is no chances when trying login in and...

right click HLDS.Exe > go to process

right click the process and pick priority>high

What about if i only have my own PC to run it on?

gaming pc, ive adjust the servers properties so it wont lagg due to im playing on pc and shit and blabla.

does it work to fix?

Ok, i did as u did with the binaries, still not showing in the list.

Ports are open, (PFPORTCHECKER SAID)
Firewalls are disabled

So, i re-installed the servers yesterday, from scratch, (hldsupdatetool),

one to 1.6, and one to CZ. this is the CZ one i were meaning, but now, when i tried the 1.6 one (who hasnt...

so, u mean, that i should try to move the steam folder to another path?

i got the standalone Dedicated HLDS server btw,
so, the server is in C:\HLSERVER and steam folder in another directory.
