How could I possibly know what would someone's FPS be if they used regular nightvision goggles? Even if I could know, why would I put that information on players HUD? What the message would be...

Why? It doesn't work like that - "once you activate nightvision your FPS magically jumps". No. It just lights up the map, and doesn't drop your FPS while using it (as you can see from the screenshots...

I honestly had no idea this existed. I complained to a friend about fps drops while nightvision was on, so he mentioned something about SVC_LIGHTSTYLE so I tried to look it up and ended up here...

Yeah exactly that, even on some modern setups nighvision can kill the fps LUL

Well I'm running CS on Pentium G840, with integrated graphics and 2GB of RAM so yeah, FPS drops A LOT.
Yeah, it only works per player, so other players can't see the light, unless they type...
