I believe that cap only applies to files being downloaded directly from the gameserver. so I dont believe the game would cut you off for dling a 500mb file from a fast dl server.

i was using this one before last nights update and threw it back on after i found this was still possible and it seems to still prevent the exploit

i knew how to do that one, and that doesn't work anymore but i coulda swore a guy last night was still able to build at least 2 sentries after the update.

smackdaddy, my linux tf2 server is running mm 1.9.0-hg700 and sm is 1.4.0-hg2965
everything is working fine although i did have to update hooks extension.

i've heard that there are bugs in tf2 as well causing crashes but so far my server has been running full with no mods loaded and hasn't...

you do know you can change the radio stations that the other plugins connect to. the one i use has a text file that lists all the addresses for each radio station. if you dont like them, take them...

setting mp_gamemode to versus fixes this. altough all maps have max players of 8. shit is so gay.
guess i'll have to make map configs to execute this each time a vs map is loaded.

well i turned the rcon commands off and logging back on and right off the i've noticed that the player amounts for vs is set to 4, while when logging off had it set to 8.
i've got my default map...

i had heard that, but someone on the linux hlds list was saying turning stats on but setting that to no just caused the server to crash.
i dunno, i'll give it a shot and see how it goes.

well, can rule out mm or sm as disabling both of those did not fix the problem.

I run a couple linux servers and recently both servers wont apply the settings set in the lobby and just go with the default map and difficulty. Is anyone else running into this or is there a fix?
