Re: Immunity level after SetUserFlagBits ?

The immunity level is only ever what you set, whether you're using the config files/default admin plugins or the SP functions. If it's not set, it's zero.

Re: AddUserFlags

No. The ... in the docs mean it's a variadic function. AdminFlag is an enum and you pass it any number of individual flags.

You might be looking for SetUserFlagBits.

Re: IClient

If the layout of INetChan changes (which can happen when the game patches) and you're using an older revision of the SDK, then calling its functions can break depending on what the change was. The...

Re: IClient

static_casting pointers is a noop. It's not the cause of your crash.

Off the top of my head, check to make sure all your pointers are valid. The code only checks pNetchan. The INetChan or...

Re: Line contained too many invalid tokens

You have a syntax error of some kind. It may be on the line the compiler reports, but it may be before that as well.

Re: Plugin breaks server, can't use plugin chat commands on server

Does no command at all work in chat, even for base SM stuff? Does the attempted command still show up in chat?

There's two possibilities off the top of my head:

First are the settings for...

Re: Modular plugin

#include is basically the same as copying and pasting. Your example code is one plugin, just split up into multiple files. That's why you're getting an error about defining the same function...

Re: Callbacks not executed

This isn't really a scripting question. If REST in Pawn isn't reporting any errors in the SM logs, you're probably going to have to start debugging it if you know C++.

Re: Removing clientside mutes against admins

There is a reason that the documentation says GetClientListening and SetClientListening are deprecated. Without testing, your code may just work if you remove the SetClientListening call.

Re: Enum Structs Available This Holiday Season

As the very first post says, this feature is merely syntactic sugar.

Re: Enum Structs Available This Holiday Season

For now, I think you can do Foo i; i = bar[0];. I checked that it compiled, but not that it worked as expected. Assignment here is handled differently than initialization and initialization only...

Re: Enum or array inside query callback

Everything is still a cell. The only thing that changed was the syntax.

Re: Enum or array inside query callback

Use a handle-based type like ArrayList or StringMap. You can't pass a basic array.

Re: ArrayList size difference

What version of the compiler are you using? This does not compile for me in any of 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, or 1.10.

Re: Passing a reference parameter to CreateVCall

Off the top of my head, you don't want to memcpy the contents of CTakeDamageInfo. You want to put its address there and bintools/SH will do the right thing.

But, to debug, you should probably set...

The output you gave us not helpful because it doesn't show the true value of mult, so we can't really verify anything. From only the code you...

Re: pass handle through timer

The CreateEvent docs say not to just close the handle. I didn't look at the implementation to see why, but it may leak memory with the handle being closed.

Re: pass handle through timer

I suppose you could clone the event handle and remember to close it later CreateEvent a new one, fill in its fields you care about, and Cancel it later.

Re: [L4D2] How to deliver extra arguments for callback function in HookConVarChange f

Handles are not pointers, they're more like handles in the Windows API or file descriptors.

Re: [L4D2] How to deliver extra arguments for callback function in HookConVarChange f

You can't.

In your callback, you get the handle of the cvar, so you can use that to know which one it is. For example, you can check cvar == CurrentV[1], probably using a loop.

Re: Memory leak on ADT Arrays

I meant all of it, at least concerning the handles. That'd include handle creation, closing, and also anywhere you put things into your array.
