I think they meant that you don't need to set the origin manually, it'll be updated automatically after SetParantAttachement, from wiki:

Note: Entities must be parented...

I just tried the AreaNum function, it doesn't work properly, atleast not for this purpose.. you'll have to really go outside the sky box for it to detect the playable area

Launch your trace from the said origin in the x/y/z direction, and check when it hits some other entity (including worldspawn), if the distance between the hit entity and the origin is less or equal...

Spawning the entity without checking if it's created is a bad idea... why didn't you check if moneyEntity actually points to an entity?
