Disagree with me all you want, but there are always people who will. Kids don't know any better, and neither do adults. I think that randomly generating a 6 digit or so password per user isn't too...

Saving the passwords in a readable/understandable format is not good. You severely comprimise the security of the users. I would say encrypt it, but that would not work because this is an open...
