First, I had fps_max exactly 1000 in my server.cfg. But Valve recently limited server fps to server tickrate. If tickrate is 128, server fps is 128. They are making it like OrangeBox Games. :shock:

Thanks for info. I had only been running HLDS so I had to use it. Will stop it for now.


My CPU is Intel Xeon E5649 6Cores 12 Threads.(LGA1366 with triple-channel memory)...

Look at cpu usage...

Server memory is like 4-6GB left(used up to 16-20GB from 24GB).

Simply run it and leave it alone or you may try firedaemon to run it in background as a service as your HLDSs by FireDaemon like mine. It does reduce my resource usage a bit.

Try different internet package that let you have static ip, yours is currently dynamic ip. It means you will get a new ip every time you connect to your gateway.

But I think turn on your PC 24/7...
